Jeff Styles addresses his future after charges dropped

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Former WGOW radio personality Jeff Styles says he can now resume his career after assault charges were dropped against him.

Last night we told you the District Attorney Neal Pinkston had decided there wasn’t enough evidence to try Styles on the assault charges fired after a road rage case earlier this year.

Styles, himself, was shot in the incident.

He was fired from Talk Radio 102.3 after his case was bound over to the grand jury.

But today he told us we’ll hear from him again.

“There’ve been a lot of people made offers, but it has all been waiting for that. For that right there (gestures to court statement). General Pinkston signed this yesterday..it’s two sentences..it says we’re not going to pursue this…I’ve known that the D.A.’s office and General Pinkston… General Pinkston is a very good man..Lee Davis a very good attorney, there was no doubt how this was going to turn out..if it had went to trial I would have won.”
