JOE FRUGAL: FREE Admission to National Parks Today, August 25

Spend part of your day at a National Park.
Today marks the National Park Service’s 99th birthday and to celebrate, all national parks will have free admission.
Only 127 of our country’s 408 national parks usually charge an entrance fee.
In celebration of being one year away from the big 100, the National Park Service created a list of 99 things you can do at the park.
The list includes activities like hug a tree, stand on a mountaintop, and discover a traditional tribal cultural practice
If you can’t make it out today, the next free National Parks day arrives on September 26th, which is National Public Lands Day.
