Josh Dobbs Healthy and Ready to Roll Against Virginia Tech
When Tennessee lines up against Virginia Tech in the Battle at Bristol on Saturday night, Josh Dobbs will be under center for the Vols.
Lot of rumors going around about his health, following that shot he took on the goal line against App State.
Dobbs tried to run it into the end zone in overtime when he took a huge hit to the gut, forcing a fumble that Jalen Hurd recovered for a touchdown.
Dobbs admitted he had the wind knocked out of him.
Other than that, he’s fine.
Tennessee’s offense didn’t look too fine in the win against the Mountaineers, and head coach Butch Jones hopes that’ll change this weekend.
Said Jones-“The big thing in the way we want to play football is first down efficiency. You have to be 65 to 75 percent first down efficiency of averaging four yards or more. I think what you saw in that was we had way too many negative yardage football plays. And again, you can’t recover having second and twelve or second and nineteen.”
