Judge denies new trial for Justin Whaley

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A judge on Monday denied a new trial for former EMT Justin Whaley.
He was convicted last fall of vehicular homicide and DUI for a crash in Soddy Daisy in 2018 that killed a man.
Whaley was sentenced to nine years in prison.
On Monday, his defense raised several questions that they believe warranted a new trial.
Judge Boyd Patterson did not agree with any of them.
