Judge: Local capitol takeover suspect is “danger to the community”
WASHINGTON D.C. (WDEF) – The Cleveland, Tennessee man charged with participating in the Jan. 6th riot that led to the storming of the U.S. Capitol, has been declared a “danger to the Community”.
That came from a federal judge in Washington, D.C.
Joseph Lino Padilla faces a total of six charges, including obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder, assault on a law enforcement officer with a deadly or dangerous weapon, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.
Padilla has been indicted by a federal grand jury.
He remains in federal custody.
