Jury convicts teen for murder of Dalton man
DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – A jury found Gabriel Mekel Adams guilty today in the murder of Kenneth Townsend last year.
Townsend was shot in his apartment in Dalton at the end of March of 2022.
Merkel was arrested in Chattanooga a week later.
Investigators arrested a second suspect earlier this year.
They say 21 year old Kyera Deshae Betton was with Adams when he shot Townsend.
