Comedian Kasaun Wilson joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to invite everyone to his first stop of his “Hello My Name Is” comedy tour at the Comedy Catch!
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Comedian Kasaun Wilson kicks off his first stop of his “Hello My Name Is” comedy tour at Chattanooga’s Comedy Catch.
Kasaun Wilson is known for his work as a writer for Jon Stewart for three seasons and having appearances on “Last Comic Standing,” “Laff Tracks,” and AppleTV+’s “The Problem with Jon Stewart.” After Jon Stewart left “The Daily Show,” Wilson was one of the first comedians to sit at the desk with Stewart in his others shows.
On top of touring to share his comedic talent across the country, Kasaun Wilson is using this opportunity to visit cities he’s never been. Wilson says, “I have been able to do some amazing things in my career. Wrote on some amazing shows, traveled the country, been around the world, but I’ve never been to certain cities.”
When asked on what audiences can expect at his show, Wilson says, “Fun. I think we lost the idea that comedy is supposed to be about jokes and people. This is a game night. We’re going to have a good time…. It’s just about the jokes. We don’t need to agree. I don’t know where that came from, that to tell a good joke, you need to agree.”
Wilson is offering two fun-filled shows for two nights at the Comedy Catch. On Friday, February 7 and Saturday, February 8 at 7:30 and 9:45. Tickets are on sale and it is restricted to ages 18 and up, with ID proof.
