Keeping couples together through Gospel-based workshops

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Covenant Keepers collaborates with the Hamilton County Marriage Initiative to work towards reducing the divorce rate in local churches.
Every 36 seconds, there are 3.6 petitions for divorce in America which roughly equals to 1,889 divorces per day. Both organizations are working to reduce the rate through monthly gospel-based workshops to help with couples reconsider divorce.
Their upcoming event on Thursday, March 27 includes two workshops. Pastor John Geeter will be teaching the class “Irreconcilable Differences?” and Pastor Kenneth Ware will be teaching the “How the Gospel Creates God-Healthy-Lifetime Marriages.” The event will have a a free dinner at 5:30 P.M. and classes run from 6:15 P.M. – 8:30 P.M. The event will be at the North River Bible Baptist Church located on 625 Ely Road, Hixson, TN 37343.
