Kentucky’s Senior Leadership Worries Georgia Coach Kirby Smart

Georgia can punch their ticket to the SEC title game on Saturday. The winner of the Kentucky-Georgia game will claim the division championship, and of course represent the East in Atlanta. The Wildcats have been one of the biggest surprises in the SEC, but Dawgs coach Kirby Smart says we should have seen this coming.

Said Smart:”We you talk to the other coaches. We all talk to each other week-to-week. Everybody talks about Kentucky’s group of seniors. They’ve got either 12 or 13 starters however you want to look at it, which is the most starters of any team in the SEC. Any defense that I’ve coached or any team that I’ve been involved in coaching that has this many seniors is usually pretty successful because they’ve played in our conference. Everybody wants to talk about how many stars do they have? How many great groups do they have? How many games have these guys played? Pretty successful when you play that many games.”

Georgia and Kentucky kick at 3:30pm Saturday, and it will be televised on News 12 Now.
