Late night shooting in Alton Park

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – A late night shooting in Chattanooga sends one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

According to officers on scene, the shooting happened just after 10pm Saturday near Nine Brothers Grocery Store in the 200 block of West 38th Street.

The victim has been identified as Marcell Christopher, 18, who is expected to recover from his injuries.
