Lauren Alaina Talks About Her Vocal Chord Surgery

     Lauren Alaina broke her silence last night… Quite literally… About why we haven’t heard much from her lately.
     She stepped out on the red carpet for the Nashville premiere of the movie "the Best of Me."
     And for the first time, She revealed that she underwent surgery on her vocal chords in August.
     The doctor told her that surgery was inevitable at some point, So she got it out of the way.
     But she wasn’t allowed to talk for weeks afterward.
     And Lauren was relieved when she just recently started singing again.
     She plans to head back into the studio to record new songs in a couple of months.
