Law enforcement responds to ‘swatting call’ near Standifer Gap and Maplewood Drive
HAMILTON COUNTY, TN – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) says deputies responded to what turned out to be a swatting call from a residence near Standifer Gap and Maplewood Drive on June 22, 2026.
The HCSO says personnel will always take any threat made seriously until determined to be false or unfounded.
They say there is no threat to the public and the incident is under investigation.
