Learn how to keep our waters clean with the inaugural “WaterFest!”
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – WaterWays is introducing a brand-new event to help teach kids on ways to keep our water clean and healthy.
Chattanooga is nicknamed the Scenic City and named the first National Park City for a reason, our beautiful ridges and rivers. But it takes community effort to keep these landscapes beautiful and clear, which is part of the WaterWays’ mission.
WaterWays is hosting their inaugural “WaterFest” to get people engaged in their mission of keeping local water sources clean.
“WaterFest” is a free, community focused event that will entertain the whole family with conservation exhibitors, animal encounters, and bounce houses! The event will be at the Red Bank High School Track and Field on May 1 from 4 -7 PM.
Visit the WaterWays website to learn more about the event and how to get involved in caring for our beautiful river, lakes, and ponds.
