Local band fronted by a firefighter called Arson to play at Riverbend

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Riverbend is all about the music, and it’s always exciting for local bands to play the festival.

One band is hoping to set Riverbend on fire Friday night.

Arson is a local cover band fronted by a female firefighter here in Chattanooga.

Liberty Suits is stationed at the East Lake station.

The band plays 80’s music.

You can expect everything from AC/DC, to Pat Benatar and Ozzy Osbourne.

Liberty Suits says, "Our name is Arson. I’m a Chattanooga firefighter, so I go to work and I put out fires. So we thought, why not do an alter ego. We’ll be arson. So, I’ll get on stage, and I’ll start them, see."

Arson is playing the Chevy stage Friday night at 8 pm.
