Local Businesses Accepting Donations for Ian Relief

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- With the devastation caused by Hurricane Ian across the southeast, particularly in Florida, many are looking for ways to help hurricane victims.

Two local businesses are teaming up to provide much needed relief.

The Pins and Needles Quilt Shop along with Miller’s Ale House is accepting donations for hurricane relief.

These two businesses have ties to South Florida, as the owner of Pins and Needles is from Cape Coral, Florida and the first Miller’s Ale House was opened in Jupiter, Florida.

Accepted items include bottled water, toiletries, blankets, batteries, towels, and prepackaged foods.

You can donate these items at Miller’s Ale House at 21-19 Gunbarrel Road.

Or you can donate in Hixson to the Pins and Needles Drop Off Zone but you will need to call ahead first.

That number is 423-668-8734.
