Local Churches Evaluate Security in Wake of South Carolina Shooting

Another large gun debate is sparked off by Wednesday’s South Carolina Church shooting.
So should there be more armed people in the church?
Pastor Kevin Adams of Mt. Olivet baptist Church in Chattanooga says his church has police security every Sunday.
He believes all churches need to reevaluate their security measures.
Though Emanuel AME church in South Carolina was a predominately African-American church, Chattanooga Police Officer Ernest Craw says any church or religion could become targets.
"It was targeted because of ethnicity unfortunately but it doesn’t matter if you’re christian or catholic or Jewish or Hindu or Muslim, there are people out there that have those ideologies of hate that want to hurt people," said Craw.
Overall Pastor Adams hopes this encourages people to be faithful and not fearful.
