Local leaders react to deadly Charlottesville Rally
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The deadly rally in Charlottesville has many area leaders taking to social media to express their thoughts.
On Twitter Chattanooga Mayor Andy Berke says racism, hatred and violence don’t belong in any American city.

Tennessee Lieutenant Governor Randy McNally says he’s tremendously saddened by the loss of life and in a longer statement says free speech and free assembly are cornerstones of American Democracy. Hatred, bullying, intimidation and political violence are not.
