Long Practice Time For Music City Bowl Should Aid Vols Defense

Has to get a little boring practicing for one football game for over a month.
But that’s the case for Tennessee as they get ready to play Nebraska Friday in the Music City Bowl.
But having that much time off between games might be a blessing for the Vols defense, which was roughed up in their last three games.
Said defensive coordinator Bob Shoop:”I think we have gotten some people back and healthy. To watch Darrin Kirkland practice the way Darrin Kirkland practiced earlier in the season has been a big lift. Cam Sutton is continuing to get healthier. We’ve gotten healthy. The guys are excited. They’ve practiced really well. We’re looking forward to going out and playing tomorrow.”
The Vols and Nebraska kick at 3:30pm Friday from the Titans Nissan Stadium.
