Looking Ahead to February 11, 2016

A Chattanooga attorney plans to file a lawsuit this morning against the city and Hamilton County for 1.75 million dollars.
Attorney Robin Flores represents Nancy Lee Mason, who was tased in the Hamilton County Jail last March.
During the booking process, Flores says Mason was cooperating until she refused to remove her jewelry.
After repeatedly asking her to remove the items, Flores says Sargent Rodney Terrell tased Mason.
Mason reportedly injured her wrist when she fell.

A hiring event takes place today from 9AM-2PM at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Also, IVC, a division of Mohawk Industries, is recruiting 60 workers for the company’s Dalton facility.
The recruiting event will be held today, from 10AM-4PM at the GDOL Dalton Career Center on Chattanooga ave.
The company is looking to hire lift truck operators, electrical engineers, inspectors and more.
