Looking Ahead to March 14, 2016

The first of five parent meetings concerning possible school zoning change in Hamilton County takes place tonight. Due to growth in Chattanooga, school leaders need to look at moving some students in order to make use of existing space. Parents at Falling Water Elementary will learn about the plan tonight at 6pm… followed by those at Loftis Middle School tomorrow at the same time.

Chattanooga’s Police Department hosts an on-site reaccreditation assessment this week. The community can offer input during a public information session tonight at City Hall at 6pm. Comments must pertain to policy and procedures, administration, operations or support services.

GEICO’s 14-millionth customer hails from Chattanooga. That person will be picked up in a limo, driven to the local office, and greeted with food and fanfare.
