Lookout Mountain brush fire

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)-  This morning, an intense brush fire was being put out on the side of Lookout Mountain.

At 6:46 a.m., Chattanooga Fire Departments were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Scenic Highway after 911 received several calls about a fire in the woods.

Due to the area being difficult for firefighters to reach, UTVs were used.

Drones were also used to show the scope of the fire.

Firefighters are working together using different trails to extinguish it.

No injuries and no structural endangerments are reported.
