Lookout Valley Middle-High student arrested

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – On November 6, 2023, a Hamilton County school resource deputy assigned to Lookout Valley Middle-High was notified that a student had a pellet gun and threatened to shoot another student.

School resource officers responded and arrested the suspect for aggravated assault.

The suspect was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

The pellet gun was seized and was a replica of a Smith and Wesson MP40.

No other details have been provided at this time.
