Man arrested after road rage hit-and-run
CLEVELAND, Tenn. (WDEF) — A road rage incident resulted in a crash and a man fleeing the scene. The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office says they found and arrested the man shortly after.
Earl Dockery was driving a Dodge Charger when he crashed into another vehicle on the Cleveland Bypass, police said.
It happened shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday.
BCSO said the other vehicle stayed on the side of the bypass. Dockery fled the scene but left his vehicle at a Circle K on Waterlevel Highway.
He then fled on foot.
Police said 20 minutes into the search for Dockery, he was found.
They say he is facing the following charges.
- Leaving the scene of an accident.
- Failure to render information and aid.
- Driving without due care.
BCSO said Dockery is being held on $2,500 bond.
