Man charged with shooting after getting into shouting match with woman

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga had another shooting on Tuesday night.

This one happened in the 3900 block of Blanchard Street in Brainerd.

Police say a 41 year old woman suffered a non-life threatening gunshot would to the leg.

Investigators chased down a suspect in the area.

Witnesses say the two were in a “heated verbal altercation” before the shooting.

38 year old Antwan Cook was charged with domestic assault, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment and a gun charge.
