Man leads deputies on a chase after not wearing a seatbelt

CLEVELAND, Tennessee (WDEF) A failed traffic stop on Tuesday started a police chase through Bradley County.

A Bradley County officer attempted to pull the driver over for failure to wear a seatbelt.

But when he hit the lights, the car sped off.

The chase continued on several roads, before the car came to a sudden stop.

Then the driver jumped out and ran into the woods.

But officers soon captured him.

It turns out that Jeffrey Alan Evans had two outstanding warrants for failing to appear in court.
