Man Loses Home in Rocky Face Fire

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) — A home is destroyed after an early morning fire in Rocky Face.

The Whitfield County fire chief says crews with several different stations responded to the fire on Lafayette Road around 5 a.m., Tuesday.

He says when they arrived, flames were coming out every window.

Officials say a man was inside, but he was able to get out safely.

According to the fire chief, the home is a complete loss.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
