Man rescued from Signal Mountain

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, Tenn. (WDEF) – Hamilton County agencies were called to Ohio Avenue to rescue a man around 1:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Officials say the 72-year-old man was complaining of “general weakness”.

Hamilton County officials say he was between Edward’s Point and the creek.

The man was treated by first responders on scene, then loaded onto an ATV to be taken off the trail for further treatment.

Walden’s Ridge Emergency Service, Signal Mountain Fire, Hamilton County EMS, Signal Mountain Police, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were all on scene.
