Man sentenced to 20 years in prison for Whitfield County home invasion

DALTON, Georgia (WDEF) – A man gets sentenced to 20 years in prison for a home invasion.

27-year old Joshua David Cole stands accused of going into a home in Tunnel Hill, and duct taping an 86-year old man to a chair while he robbed the house.

According to the Daily Citizen, Cole pleaded guilty to robbery, burglary, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

He also pleaded guilty to the exploitation of an elder person.

Cole got sentenced in a Whitfield County Courtroom on Thursday.
