Man shot in Bradley County, suspect detained

UPDATE:

The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office sent an update on the shooting that happened Friday morning.

They identified the man shot as Robert Bishop.

Officers identified the suspect as Javonte McKnight.

The sheriff’s office arrested McKnight and charged him with aggravated assault for shooting Bishop.

They are holding him at the Bradley County Jail without bond.

BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — Bradley County Officers responded to a man shot on Friday morning.

Deputies found a man shot in the leg around 9 a.m. on April 7.

It happened on Hannah Road Northwest, in Cleveland.

EMS then transported the man to a hospital. However, officers believe his wound was not life-threatening.

Bradley County officers said they located and detained a suspect at the scene.

They are still investigating the incident. We will bring more information as it is available.
