Man struck by lightning in Dalton, flown to Atlanta

DALTON, GA (WDEF) – A man is recovering in Atlanta after being struck by lightning in Dalton.

Dalton Fire Officials say it happened Wednesday.

They say a man was struck by lightning while fishing in a pond at Dalton Country Club.

He was initially transported to Hamilton Medical Center, then air lifted to Grady Hospital.

The man’s condition is unknown.
