Marshals offer rewards for escaped inmate and corrections officer

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama (WDEF) – The U.S. Marshals Service is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the capture of an escaped inmate from Lauderdale County in northwest Alabama last week.

And they are offering $5,000 for the correctional officer who they believe helped him.

Vicky White was escorting Casey White (no relation) to a mental health evaluation outside the prison before his upcoming capital murder trial.

They never showed up and authorities believe they may be still together in a 2007 orange or copper Ford Edge with minor damage to the rear, left bumper.
