Matthew Crownover the Tom Brady of Pitchers?

Ringgold,GA-(WDEF) Ringgold native Matthew Crownover had to do some quick shopping after the Washington Nationals drafted him on Tuesday in the sixth round of the Major League Baseball draft. He had to buy a Nationals baseball cap.

Crownover says he will soon report to Florida, where the Nationals will evaluate him before determining his minor league assignment.
Crownover starred as a left-handed pitcher at Clemson, where his weight training coach kept calling him the Tom Brady of college pitchers.
Said Crownover,"Tom Brady was a sixth round pick. He never got any respect. He has won four Super Bowls now. It was always a joke, and it’s kind of funny. He was a sixth round pick, and now I’m a sixth round pick. By no means do I expect to have the equivalency of his career, but it’s kind of cool. Whatever the Nationals want me to do, a starter or a reliever, I will be willing to do it. Hopefully if I perform, I will have a chance."
