Walmart associate Dakota Lovain found a love letter from 1954 in the aisle of the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Dalton, GA.

We told you First on News 12 that the letter was from a serviceman named Max, to his honey, Martha Young.

Lovain, a member of the National Guard, who recently deployed, was hoping to find the family of Max and Martha to return it.

He gave it to his co-worker, Jennifer Hendrix, very graciously agreed to an exclusive interview with News 12, in hopes of finding the family.

She learned that sadly, both Martha and Max have passed away, but through Max’s obituary, she found their grandson who was raised by them.
