Mayor Wamp wants you to take a 3 minute survey before his State of the County address

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tennessee (WDEF) – Before Mayor Weston Wamp gives his state of the county address later this month, he hopes residents will take a quick online survey about priorities.

The Mayor will deliver his first State of the County address on Friday, March 31 in the downtown studio of FreightWaves.

He plans to recap his time in office so far and share his vision for the future of the County.

That will include his budget priorities.

And that’s where you come in.

The Mayor’s Office is asking residents to share their input on what county priorities should be by taking the three minute survey.

You can find it at stateofthecounty.org.

The survey will remain up through Sunday, March 26.

“The measure of our county is how well we serve our youngest and oldest citizens, which requires careful long-term planning and strategic investment as our community continues to grow,” said Mayor Wamp.

“Since the beginning of the year, my office has been working closely with the county’s finance department, department heads, and county commissioners to prioritize and adequately fund projects that will have the greatest impact on our community.”

If you want to attend the Mayor’s address, you can RSVP at the same online site.
