McKamey Animal Center: Paw Palooza

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)- Coolidge Park had an extra dose of animals this afternoon.

McKamey Animal Center had its inaugural Paw Palooza Pet Walk and Festival.

A walk around the park, a water area to play in, and plenty of games and treats.

This event is a way to have the community join together post pandemic.

“As everyone’s coming back from Covid it was really important for us to find a way to end that so we can be a part of the community on a bigger level. So we thought something like this over the summer would be really fun to bring everyone together to have fun and celebrate pets and animals,” said Savannah Shoemaker.
