Medical Examiner rules on what happened to murder victims Christopher Woodard & Jumoke Johnson

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The autopsy tells a different story than what was assumed after witnesses said gunfire was exchanged between two cars in January.

Christopher Woodard and Jumoke Johnson were both killed when their car crashed and rolled onto a parked vehicle on East 12th street.

Witnesses described two cars chasing and shooting at each other.

But the coroner’s report out now rules out both the crash and bullets from another vehicle for causing the death.

The medical examiner has ruled that both young men were actually shot by an unidentified individual in the backseat.

Both suffered multiple shots to the back of the head.
