John Wesley Bennett has been charged with four counts of leaving the scene of an accident.
But this morning, he appeared before a judge in Bradley County on other drug charges.
Investigators say on Firday, Bennett was driving on Highway 58 when his trailer detached from his dump truck and hit two vehicles behind it.
