Meigs County has worst power outages now from storms

DECATUR, Tenn. (WDEF) – Volunteer Energy Cooperative in Meigs County reports the largest power outages remaining in the Tennessee Valley following the Thursday storm front.

Volunteer Energy CooperativeThe Coop reports that crews are now working on downed tree limbs from strong winds and rain overnight in the Ten Mile area.

195 customers are affected.

In Chattanooga, EPB reports only minimal outages in the Lookout Valley area.

On Thursday, Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative repaired lines on Jasper Mountain.

A large tree took out three power poles there.
