Minor injuries reported following two-car crash in Dunlap

At 10:40 a.m. CST on Saturday, May 30th, 2026, the Dunlap Fire Department (DFD) was dispatched to a two car crash with possible entrapment on Hwy 8/111 at the Tram Trail Street intersection.

They say one victim was extricated with Hurst rescue tools but appeared to only have minor injures.

The accident was just inside the city limits and is being worked by the Dunlap Police Department, the DFD says.

Dunlap Fire responded with Rescue 1 and Engine 1 and 10 volunteer FFs.

Sequatchie County Sheriff’s deputies assisted with Puckett EMS transporting the injured parties.

Sequatchie County Rescue provided traffic control during the scene.
