Missing Child In McMinn County

Here is the News Release from the McMinn County Sheriff’s Office:

McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy is seeking information on a 15 month-old child reporting missing Thanksgiving morning.
Sheriff Guy states that around 1115 am his officers responded to a residence on County Road 54 where Peggy Damen reported her grandson, Paxton Sluter, was missing from his bed. Ms Damen could not give specific information about the last time she had been with the child.
“It’s possible that Ms Damen took the child to Meigs Co last night, but at this point we can’t confirm that,” said Sheriff Guy. “We are asking anyone with any information about this child to call 911 immediately. It is possible the child was taken to some other residence in McMinn or Meigs Counties. We are also currently searching the area around the residence on Co Rd 54 along with our Rural Fire Departments.”
Paxton Sluter is 15 months old, white male, 2 ½ feet tall, 26 lbs, brown eyes, with reddish brown hair. He may be wearing a red or blue pajama sleeper with white footies.
Any information about this case call 911 immediately.
