Missing Person Case in Stevenson, Alabama Leads to Car Chase

Authorities spent the weekend searching for Ashley Grider Kennedy.

On Sunday, they found her.

Around 6:30 PM, Kennedy stole a vehicle from the parking lot of Independent Wrecker Service in Stevenson, Alabama.

A short time later, Hollywood Police Department stopped the vehicle but as the officer approached, she sped off.

Several agencies pursued Kennedy, eventually using spike strips in the road.

Authorities say Kennedy also made an attempt to strike a deputy with her vehicle before wrecking.

Kennedy will face several charges including Theft, Attempting to Elude, and Attempted murder.
