Mocs David Blackburn Does Not Deny Interest in Vols AD Job While Speaking in Knoxville

Knoxville, TN-(WDEF) Mocs athletic director David Blackburn spoke at an FCA breakfast Thursday on Rocky Top. The Knoxville native has been mentioned as a possible candidate to replace outgoing Vols AD Dave Hart, and Blackburn admits he is interested in the position.
Said Blackburn:”I have never lied about that obviously. This is where I grew up. I spent 28 years on Lake Loudin Boulevard. That’s my home. So I would not ever deny it. It’s a beautiful place. I think it needs to be beautiful, and I think a lot of people can make it beautiful, not just me.”
