Mocs Keionta Davis Misses Getting Drafted Thanks to Bulging Disc in His Neck

Mocs defensive end Keionta Davis expected to hear his name called in the NFL Draft over the weekend, but no team selected him, and he hasn’t gotten
a free agent deal.
Now we learn from NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport that Davis has a bulging disc in his neck, so that’s the main reason why teams did not take him.
Rapoport says Davis’ doctors believe the disc will heal in time, and when it does, Davis can pick a team to sign with.
Davis led the SoCon in sacks last season with 10.5, and he was named the SoCon Defensive Player of the Year by league coaches.
