Mom To Mom – Snowman Milk Jugs
The holidays may be over, but there’s still plenty of time for the snowmen. We are making a snowman milk jug craft, and basically you probably have all this stuff in your house, but if not, all you’re going to need is some pipe cleaners, some felt, some construction paper and glue, a pin and some lights.
Now let’s assemble our milk jug snowman. So what you’re going to want to do is take your black construction paper, because we’re going to create the eyes and the mouth. Usually, I take the lid of the milk jug and just use it to trace the eyes. Then once you have your eyes, you can go ahead and cut those out. Put that aside. Then you want to create your nose, which you’re going to cut in a triangle. Once you cut that out, you’re going to put that aside.
Then you are going to take your felt. I like to use a cup to kind of make like the earmuffs and I trace that all around and then I cut that out. So once you have both your earmuffs, now you can officially assemble this milk jug. Make sure you grab your glue and let’s have some fun.
The last step is to get you some battery powered lights, cut a hole in the bottom of the milk jug, stick the lights in and then you’re ready to go. Now your kids can use this as a nightlight or just something fun to look at.
