Mom who loved guns shot by her 4 year old

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WDEF) – A woman known for touting her gun love on Facebook is recovering from being shot in the back by her young son.

Jamie Gilt modeled for and championed gun rights on social media.

But now she is in the hospital after her 4 year old shot her in the back while she was driving the family vehicle.

Just the night before, she posted how her son got “jacked up” to target shoot with a .22.

But now Gilt could face criminal charges for how he got his hands on the .45 caliber handgun she was shot with.
