Monteagle Homicide Victim’s Children Describe Him as “Peace-loving”

Aaron Tate was looking most forward to seeing his Dad Tuesday after spending a year in jail, but that reunion never happened.
"When I was fixin’ to get my paperwork that’s when the people at the jail informed me that my father passed away," said Tate.
65-year-old Kenneth Tate was found dead in his Monteagle home and investigators determined it was a homicide.  Aaron says it was a shock to his entire family.
"He was an old hippie it’s always been music around here and art..He always made us be open minded about different things," he said.
The TBI wont release specifics right now like how Tatum was killed or what the possible motive was as the investigation is still developing.
If you know any details related to his death contact the TBI.
