More To The Story: Run For the Wall
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – A little before six o’clock on a Tuesday night. For the most part, it’s pretty quiet at the Harley Davidson shop on Lee Highway.
But it appears that people are waiting for something. Lots of food is being boxed and stacked.
Something is about to go down.
Over 350 motorcycles rolling into “dodge” to spend the evening. Chattanooga being one of the stops on the annual “Run For The Wall.”
Veterans, civilians….all of them on their machines. On a journey. Spreading awareness of the 82-thousand some Americans still unaccounted for from our past wars and conflicts.
They all have their reasons for doing this.
DUSTIN TAYLOR, CALIFORNIA RIDER;
“I do it because I’m a veteran myself and I love to serve all of our veterans. My father-in-law is a Purple Heart recipient. I have grandfathers who were in World War II. And I do it for all of those who have served. Because I know what that flag means to us.”
