CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — First responders were on the scene of an apartment fire Friday morning.
The fire happened at a building on Citico Avenue, near North Holtzclaw.
The Chattanooga Fire Department learned about the fire just after 5:30 a.m.
Officers evacuated residents in other apartments.
Two people escaped the fire without any injuries.
Firefighters and investigators have been at the scene for several hours.
The Red Cross is helping those who have been displaced.
The cause of the incident still remains under investigation.
