Mother of twins killed in hot car: “They didn’t deserve to die that way”
ATLANTA (CBS46) – The mother of twin girls who died of heat-related illness after authorities said their father left them in a hot car said she just wants to hold her children again.
“I just want to tell them I love them,” Breal Ellis said.
Asa North was denied bond, and will face involuntary manslaughter charges. Authorities said he was drinking when he left his twin daughters in the back seat of his vehicle on Thursday. Neighbors said in a failed attempt to cool the girls off when he returned to them, North rushed them to a kiddie pool.
