Motorcyclist dies after colliding into wild animal

HOLLYWOOD, Ala. (AP) – Alabama State Troopers say a motorcyclist has been killed after striking a wild animal in Jackson County.

Local news outlets report troopers say 65-year-old Floyd Bradford of Hollywood died after the motorcycle he was operating collided with the animal and overturned Monday evening, about two miles north of Hollywood.

Bradford was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Authorities did not specify what type of animal it was that Bradford collided with.

The crash remains under investigation.
